Photography

I have always had an eye for photography and it remains a deep passion of mine. I enjoy shooting photos on my iPhone everyday, using an Olympus OM-D EM5 for high quality shoots, and I like to mess around with old film cameras - currently a Nikon S3 Rangefinder Camera with a 50mm lens from 1964. All the photos on this site are my own and I have posted them on my Instagram as well; check out more photos by clicking on the instagram logo!

Software Engineering

My passion for technology began at a young age and has only grown stronger over time. I'm grateful for my education at Purdue University, where I had the opportunity to explore various fields of engineering. I ultimately earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering and a minor in Statistics. Since graduating in 2022, I've been fortunate to work on cutting-edge technologies, including generative artificial intelligence, distributed computing, and building intelligent agents. I'm working on publishing more public code to my GitHub soon, including the code I developed for this website— click the GitHub logo to check it out!

Trading

Over the past few years, I have become fascinated with the trading world. This has led me down a path of studying the psychology of trading, risk management, and technical analysis. I have learned the most while reading books like Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwager, Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John J. Murphy, and Martin Zweig's Winning on Wall Street. I find myself engaged by world economics and how different forms of monetary policy can drive market movements. I am striving to improve my trade strategy and materialize my conviction continuously. I have documented some of my analysis publicly on the FollyNine X profile; check it out by clicking on the X logo!

1. lack of good sense; foolishness.
"an act of sheer folly"

You might wonder why anyone would choose "folly" to describe their website. Well, I'm glad you asked… Folly perfectly captures the essence of this site. In the past, folly has been a term to affectionately describe things like family cars, sailboats, and even my childhood puppy, a Black Lab Mutt with only three legs. At first glance, these things might seem silly or even foolish, as the definition suggests. But in reality, they've been the very things that have brought my family and friends together time and time again, creating unforgettable memories that we'll cherish forever.
